Teoria do Fluxo e Bem-Estar Digital: Além da Métrica do Tempo de Tela

O tempo de tela tem associação com diversos problemas de saúde mental, porém essa métrica não leva em consideração a qualidade do engajamento. Este artigo pretende ir além do conceito de tempo de tela e explorar teoricamente a qualidade do uso de tecnologia digitais. Para isso, apresenta-se a teoria do fluxo, proposta por Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, como lente teórica para analisar a qualidade da experiência com telas. Através dessa teoria, contrasta-se o uso problemático do uso adaptativo de tecnologias digitais. Sugere-se mudança de foco das pesquisas sobre os impactos da tecnologia na saúde mental, de uma metodologia puramente quantitativa para uma qualitativa. A análise teórica apresentada se mostra relevante para design de plataformas, autoconsciência de usuários e educação digital, com vista a promover o bem-estar digital.
