Experiência de adoecimento em pacientes transplantados de coração: uma revisão narrativa

Objetivo: Descrever o percurso da construção de conhecimento sobre experiência de adoecimento em transplantados de coração. Revisão Bibliográfica: O transplante cardíaco é o padrão ouro no tratamento de doença cardíaca terminal. Apesar dos benefícios inegáveis do procedimento, diversos desafios se apresentam à qualidade de vida e experiências dos pacientes. O coração tem lugar simbólico milenar, o que influencia a percepção do sujeito transplantado. O estudo das narrativas dos transplantados, através de pesquisa qualitativa, tem se mostrado muito importante para melhorar o entendimento desses desafios. A maior parte da literatura sobre o tema se concentra no eixo Suécia-Reino Unido-Canadá, tendo como lastro um projeto extremamente inovador (PITH), fruto de colaboração interdisciplinar entre filósofos, cientistas sociais, cardiologistas, psiquiatras e artistas. No Brasil, apenas dois estudos foram produzidos até o momento. Os temas mais frequentemente encontrados envolvem a gratidão, enfrentamento e reconstrução da identidade. Considerações finais: A revisão mostra lacunas e oportunidades de pesquisa, sobretudo na população brasileira, cujas idiossincrasias transculturais ainda não foram apreendidas no grupo dos transplantados. Estudos com pesquisa qualitativa rigorosa e adaptados à realidade brasileira podem ser uma estratégia para avançar a construção de conhecimento neste campo
