Decision making and human resources performance indicators: a bibliometric study on scientific productions

The research in question was motivated by interest in investigating what has been published in the scientific databases EBSCOhost, Scielo and Web of Science in the five-year time frame, from 2015 to 2020, addressing the topics of decision-making and human resources performance indicators. . The objective is to identify the main characteristics, the volume of publications and, mainly, the relationship between these themes. By using the bibliometric methodology based on Pritchard's model (1969), with adaptations of the PRISMA method proposed by Moher et al. (2015), it was possible to observe the absence of publications that covered both themes in a correlated way in the period analyzed. Although significant contributions and relevant studies have been identified in each of these themes separately, it is observed that the interconnection between them has not yet been explored as a consolidated field of study. In view of the study proposal, a future research agenda is suggested that deepens the understanding of the motivators behind published studies when they present a greater volume in certain periods, as well as expanding the chronological period analyzed.
