Objective: To assess the agreement of nursing undergraduate students regarding satisfaction and self-confidence in learning after participating in an Emergency Simulation Olympiad. Method: This is a non-equivalent quasi-experimental study without a comparison group conducted in July 2023, involving 70 nursing students from a private higher education institution in Brasília, Federal District, Brazil. The intervention consisted of an Emergency Simulation Olympiad in the modalities of basic life support, complete spinal motion restriction, hemorrhage control using a tourniquet, triage with the START method, and arrhythmia identification. A sample characterization questionnaire and the Student Satisfaction and Self-Confidence in Learning Scale were used. Hypothesis tests were applied as appropriate. The study obtained approval from the Research Ethics Committee. Results: The 70 students who participated in the Emergency Simulation Olympiad, with an average age of 29.3 years (±8.3) and a majority female (81.4%), demonstrated high satisfaction and self-confidence, with no significant variation between different age groups but with higher satisfaction among those who self-evaluated as sufficient (p = 0.05). Conclusion: The results revealed high levels of satisfaction and self-confidence among the students who participated in the olympiad, regardless of their age group. It was observed that the satisfaction levels were significantly higher among students who self-declared as sufficient in the teaching and learning process.
