The objective of this scientific research is to conduct a systematic review of the international literature concerning performance evaluation related to the internationalization process of technology industries. The Knowledge Development Process – Constructivist (Proknow-C) was employed as a tool for the structured identification of relevant international literature on the research axes. Among the main findings of the analysis, it was observed that the number of publications on the subject has increased in recent years, that the majority of publications originate from European countries, that the most cited article has 177 citations, and that the most influential author in the bibliographic portfolio (BP) is Joan Freixanet, with two articles. Additionally, the author network in the BP comprises 63 occurrences. This study contributes to academia by providing a comprehensive overview of the literature related to the research axes.
