This article aims to analyze the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the development of Education 5.0, focused on personalized learning, pedagogical innovation, and the integral formation of students. The study adopts a qualitative approach based on bibliographic review and is grounded in both national and international authors, with emphasis on Magnago (2024), Linares et al. (2023), McLaren (2022), among others. The analysis reveals that AI provides significant opportunities for personalized learning paths, real-time performance monitoring, and the creation of more interactive educational environments. However, the effective implementation of these technologies requires pedagogical intentionality, ongoing teacher training, and public policies aimed at digital equity. The study also highlights challenges such as inadequate infrastructure in public schools, lack of proper teacher training for AI use, and ethical concerns related to data privacy and the potential dehumanization of education. Based on these findings, the article advocates for a critical and human-centered integration of AI into pedagogical practice, understanding it as a tool in service of education, not a substitute for teachers. The article concludes by emphasizing the importance of broadening the debate on this theme and suggests the development of future empirical research to investigate the impact of AI in everyday school practices, particularly in contexts of social vulnerability.
