Introduction: Falls have been a subject of great discussion today, being one of the main causes of trauma that is described as a public health problem, as it mainly affects the elderly population, with greater impact on individuals with Parkinson's Disease (PD). Objectives: To analyze the main nursing care for fall prevention and injury reduction in elderly patients with Parkinson's Disease. Methods: Qualitative bibliographic review study, using Grounded Theory as a methodological framework. The search was conducted in the Virtual Health Library, SciELO, Library, and PubMed databases, using the descriptors: "Falls", "Parkinson's Disease", "Nursing care", "Diagnosis", "Self-care", and "Treatment". Articles in Portuguese and English, available in full text, published between 2019 and 2024 were included. Results: The analyzed studies showed that PD patients have 62% more experiences with falls compared to individuals with other neurological diseases, due to lack of motor coordination, tremors, and slowness of movement. Nursing care is essential in fall prevention through risk assessment, implementation of preventive measures, patient and family education, and development of individualized care plans. Conclusion: Qualified nursing care is essential to prevent falls and their complications in elderly patients with Parkinson's Disease. Continuous training of nursing professionals on risk assessment and implementation of preventive measures is fundamental to reduce the incidence of falls and improve the quality of life of these patients.
