Digital transformation has become a strategic imperative for organizations across various sectors, requiring deep changes in management models, operational processes, and organizational culture. In this context, strategic consulting emerges as a facilitator of change, contributing to the definition of digital guidelines, the alignment between technology and strategy, and the development of organizational capabilities. This article aims to analyze, through a narrative literature review, the role played by strategic consulting in the digital transformation of organizations. National and international publications from 2010 to 2025 were examined, based on relevant authors from the fields of management, innovation, and emerging technologies. The findings indicate that consulting practices range from digital maturity assessment to the implementation of technological solutions, increasingly mediated by digital platforms, artificial intelligence, and automation. Significant barriers were also identified, including resistance to change, strategic misalignment, and weak digital governance. It is concluded that strategic consulting, when integrated into institutional reality, plays a decisive role in building sustainable and adaptive digital trajectories.
