Bibliographic Analysis of Active Methodological Strategies Used in the Development of Logical-Mathematical Reasoning in First-Grade Basic Education Students

Abstract

Este estudio analiza las estrategias metodológicas activas empleadas para potenciar el razonamiento lógico-matemático en estudiantes de primer año de educación básica, mediante una revisión sistemática de literatura científica publicada entre 2020 y 2025 en bases de datos indexadas como Scopus, Scielo y Web of Science. El enfoque fue cualitativo, con diseño no experimental y alcance descriptivo, revisando investigaciones arbitradas que abordaran metodologías activas en dicho nivel educativo. Los resultados muestran que las estrategias más efectivas incluyen el aprendizaje basado en problemas (PBL), actividades lúdicas, materiales manipulativos físicos y digitales, gamificación, tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TIC), retroalimentación formativa y aprendizaje cooperativo, todas respaldadas por teorías constructivistas y enfoques de aprendizaje significativo. Tal como se presenta en la Tabla 1, estas estrategias son complementarias: por ejemplo, las actividades lúdicas se potencian mediante retroalimentación formativa y manipulativos en un enfoque PBL. Se identificó que el PBL es la estrategia más frecuente, seguido de actividades lúdicas y uso de manipulativos. Se concluye que la combinación de estas metodologías favorece la construcción de aprendizajes significativos, el pensamiento crítico y la resolución colaborativa de problemas, aunque persiste la falta de estudios longitudinales y en contextos rurales. Los hallazgos ofrecen orientaciones para el diseño curricular y la formación docente en contextos diversos, con especial relevancia para la realidad ecuatoriana caracterizada por su heterogeneidad cultural y pedagógica.
