Fatores de risco para síndrome de burnout em estudantes da saúde: uma revisão integrativa

Introdução: A Síndrome de Burnout é crescente em estudantes da área da saúde. Caracterizada pela exaustão emocional, despersonalização e baixa realização pessoal, a condição se agrava devido às intensas demandas acadêmicas e sociais. Objetivo: O presente estudo visou compreender como demandas acadêmicas e fatores externos influenciam o desenvolvimento da SB entre estudantes da área da saúde. Método: A pesquisa consistiu em uma revisão integrativa da literatura. Foram considerados artigos focados nos fatores de risco, consequências e estratégias de enfrentamento para o Burnout. Resultado: Ficou evidente que a carga horária, pressões curriculares, falta de redes de apoio e desigualdades sociais são comuns no desenvolvimento da condição. Além disso, a pressão por bons resultados e o impacto de eventos externos contribuem para a exaustão. Conclusão: Desta forma, a análise ressaltou a necessidade urgente de políticas educacionais que promovam apoio institucional, serviços de saúde mental acessíveis, programas de bem-estar e técnicas de gestão do estresse, para a prevenção e o enfrentamento do Burnout.
