Abstract

Marginal tissue recession is the apical displacement of gingiva position from the cementum / enamel junction (CEJ) leading to root exposure. This condition can often cause dentin sensitivity, poor hygiene, compromise the orthodontic movement and other factors. Even with the need to preserve the periodontal tissues for physiological reasons, patients often seek treatment of recessions for aesthetic reasons. There currently described in the literature various techniques for root coverage. However, the "gold standard" technique is surgical maneuver flap positioned coronally with subepithelial connective tissue graft, which increases the predictability of the coating in areas with root exposure. The objective of this study is to describe, through a case report a root coverage technique of multiple recessions with microsurgery scissors and subepithelial connective tissue graft.
