The JRG Journal of Academic Studies is a scientific journal, electronic, totally free, open access, with biannual periodicity and continuous publication, which receives submissions of unpublished works in continuous flow, in Portuguese, Spanish or English.

The magazine publishes two issues a year, released every semester, which together make up one volume. Each article is published within a number with its own summary. The periodicity of publication is semiannual, with one issue every 6 months:

• January/June issue: continuous publication from January to June
• July/December issue: continuous publication from July to December
