The impacts of the general data protection law (LGPD) on the Brazilian healthcare system

This work is concerned with developing the theme of the impacts arising from the validity of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) in the Brazilian Health System, with this in mind, it focuses on understanding aspects related to data protection and protection of sensitive data. It is noteworthy that the general objective of the research is to analyze how the General Data Protection Law treats information relating to health, that is, to present the articles and provisions of said legislation on the topic. Specific objectives are: to briefly discuss the fundamental right to health; describe the principles relating to data protection in the LGPD; talk generally about this legislation and define how health data is protected under the LGPD. The justification for choosing the theme is related to the importance that data protection has gained with its recognition as a fundamental right of the individual, as well as due to information relating to health being considered sensitive and, therefore, requiring greater attention and care. in your treatment. Finally, regarding the methodology, it is bibliographic research materialized through the survey of varied bibliographic references.
